Part 2 – Bowel Motions

Althing is the place to propose and pass motions, but in the pub after Forum, Rosalie decided to consider, out loud, while having a drink, the idea of the phrase ‘passing a motion’. Coincidentally, the quote book was open and on the table at this time. So as not to endure RSI, I passed it to Rosalie, and she started scribbling.

Rosalie: “I always think that when people say ‘I want to pass a motion’ that it kind of like they are saying ‘I need to have a movement’ so I think they are going for a shit, not trying to make Woodcraft better.”

Nick: “Should we say that? Now every time we go for a shit, we should say we’re going to pass a motion?”

Rosalie: “But… but then people would know!”
